I am a Professor at Télécom Paris (formerly ENST, formerly Télécom ParisTech) in the optical telecommunications research group. I have been a member of the academic staff here since 1998. Now in my mid-forties, I hold an HDR degree in addition to my Ph.D. and M.Eng. in Telecommunications from ENST. Earlier, up to the MSc level in physics and BSc in computer science, I was a student of ENS and Universities Paris 6&7.
More about myself:
I dwell in the domain of optical telecommunications. This is a vast topic, ranging from getting light across short and long distances, to making optical quantum computers a reality, aiming ultimately to help you chat with your friends and securely order and download movies over the fiber buried beneath your sidewalk.
