The purpose of these studies is to develope adequate softwares to efficiently process images from high resolution synthetic aperture radar imagery.

We are mostly interested in images coming from satellites:

• ERS 1 and 2 Satellites,
• JERS 1 satellite,
• RadarSat.

Our Activity is related to the following topics:

• interferometric image processing for frange restoration and phase unwrapping,
• radarclinometry (i.e. Shape from Shading),
• feature extraction and pattern recognition for automatic radar cartography.
