Outline: Advanced image
processing for specific diagnostic tasks. Sessions on clinical
applications taught jointly by experts clinicians and image
processors.
Course Schedule:
Lecture 1: Cerebral tumors: segmentation and longitudinal follow up.
Lecture 2: Cardiovascular imaging
Lecture 3: Mammography imaging
Lecture 4: Patch-based image denoising
Lecture 5: Validation methods for medical image processing
Evaluation: bibliographic report (100%). Attendance will be checked.
