Hello, my name is Marilena Oita.
I come from a small city near the Black Sea, called Mangalia, from Romania.
I graduaded in 2009 and obtained the Bachelor's degree in System and Computer Engineering from University 'Politehnica' of Bucarest.
One year of master was done at Ecole Polytechnique(X), Palaiseau.
Consequently,
I was intern at INRIA, Gemo (now the so-called LEO) team.
My internship was on the topic of "Community systems in Peer-to-Peer networks" and realized under the supervision of
Serge Abiteboul,
while collaborating with Bogdan Marinoiu and
Alban Galland.
As a new PhD student, I am a part of the DBWEB team,
in the INFRES laboratory of Telecom ParisTech.
My PhD is done under the guidance of Pierre Senellart and
Serge Abiteboul and has the topic "The archiving of new forms of Web content".
I am a member of the Webdam project
and I'm collaborating with European Web Archive, an organization that is involved in the LiWA project.
Interests
I am interested in the all topics that involve the Web, but more specifically in Information Retrieval, Data Mining, Semantic Web, Social Networks and related fields.
