Research

Modern software makes it much easier to readily access vast amounts of data, but it is still difficult to make sense of it all. My research focuses on empowering users to better manage this information by using information visualization techniques to help them make sense of the data, and through end-user programming to help them better take control of the software that acts as the guardian between the user and the data.

Teaching

While I was at Georgia Tech, I had the opportunity to teach several classes:

  • CS7450 — Information Visualization [Fall 2008]
  • Apple Technology Workshops [ Summer 08 ] [ Spring 08 ]
