I am a Phd student in cognitive science at Telecom ParisTech, I study event relevance through the lens of algorithmic complexity. My thesis advisor is Jean-Louis Dessalles.

Short resume

I have an engineering degree at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest in 2001, and a Master de recherche en Sciences Cognitives at Paris XI Orsay, in 2005, with an internship on coreference resolution. I have worked in software engineering for eight years, with a special interest in OOP, enterprise software architecture and design patterns, Java, open source, electronic text publishing, a short pdf resume here.
