Quand on sait que tout problème est un faux problème, on est dangereusement près du salut. - Emil Michel Cioran

Current collaborations

Sinari

  • Funding: ANR CSOSG
  • Partners: G2ELab (INPG), CEA LIST, EDF R&D, Atos Origin Integration, FP Conseil

Diaforus

  • Funding: ANR VERSO
  • Partners: LaBri, Thalès Communications, Coronis

Tiny6

  • Funding: Foreign Affairs Ministry
  • Partners: INRIA, CNRS, Southeast University (Nanjing, China), BITS Pilani (India), IIT Guwahati (India), Seoul National University (Korea), Information and Communications University (Korea)

This project brings together French and Asian scientists who have developed well-recognized skills in sensor networks and IPv6 fields, aiming for 3 main objectives:

1) Sharing knowledge between partners, exchanging students and accessing experimental platforms available at other partners’ laboratories.

2) Developing common material courses that can be taught in our different Universities.

3) Specifying and implementing a minimal IPv6 stack adapted to the diversity of Sensor network behaviors.

Euro NF

Euro NF gathers 35 partners, spanning over all Europe, around the theme of the Internet of the Future. This European initiatives aims at enhancing collaborations between different institutions, exploring every technological and socio-economical aspect of the Internet evolutions.

Former projects

During the past years, I have been involved in the following collaborations:

Georacing

  • Funding: ANR RIAM program
  • Partners: Trimaran

Our contribution in this project focuses on applying ad hoc networking techniques to enhance communication capabilities of GPS-enabled tracking devices used in cyclist races. As these races often pass through areas in which cellular coverage is poor, we study the feasibility of using ad hoc routing protocols between lightweight devices to help forward tracking data towards a cellular relay embarked in a vehicle.

IRRIIS

IRRIIS aims at studying and proposing software-based solutions to the problem of Critical Infrastructures Interdependencies. This project focuses on the interdependencies between telecommunication and power networks. In this context, it aims at better characterizing the dependencies that may exist between these two very different domains' infrastructures and at proposing a solution based on a Middleware technology and a common simulator to reduce cascading effects occurrence.

Euro NGI / Euro-FGI

These two network of excellence have been the prequels to the current Euro NF NoE. They both brought together researchers from several institutions to exchange around the theme of next / future generation networks.

i-Pluton

  • Funding: GET
  • Period: 2006

i-Pluton has been a one-year collaboration between ENST and INT on the topic of DTN and ad hoc networking for spatial communications.

Capt'Adhoc

  • Funding: GET
  • Period: 2005

Capt'Adhoc has been a one-year collaboration around the theme of cross-layer design for Wireless Ad hoc and Sensor networks. Involving teams from different schools of the GET, it allowed researchers to meet and exchange around these subjects.
