The ICA mailing list

The ICA list is a mailing list devoted to announcements and discussions regarding all aspects of Independent Component Analysis (ICA) and Source Separation.

For the time being, this is a public mailing list: anyone can post messages to it.

The list is now archived (after spam removal !).

How it works

• Posting: Any email message sent to icalist@inf.enst.fr will be broadcasted to all the subscribers This is it!.

  However, you must first subscribe to the list (see below) for your message to be broadcast. This is to protect the list from junk mail.

  Please, do not post messages with large attachements. Rather publish the file somewhere and post a URL to it.

• Subscribing: To become a member of the list, send an email to listserv@inf.enst.fr with an empty subject and with a body like this:

  subscribe  icalist  first_name  last_name 

  You can replace first_name last_name by whatever text you want, but using your first name and last name is what is expected.
  You will receive a welcome message a few minutes after subscribing.

  Three things to check:
  

  1. Make sure you send your subscription request to listserv@inf.enst.fr and not to icalist@inf.enst.fr.
  2. Make sure your mailer does not send html-formatted mail . Our (admittedly rudimentary) subscription system is confused by html.
  3. Make sure you have read item number 2.

• Unsubscribing: To be removed from the list, send an email to listserv@inf.enst.fr with an empty subject and with a body like this:

  signoff icalist

  For the system to work, you must send this message using the same email account as the one you used for subscribing (of course).

• In case of trouble: Send me email cardoso@tsi.enst.fr.
