Dr  Karim Abed-Meraim was born in Algiers, ALGERIA, in 1967. He received the State Engineering Degree  from Ecole Polytechnique, Paris, FRANCE, in 1990,  the State Engineering Degree from   Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications (ENST), Paris, FRANCE, in 1992, the M.Sc. degree from Paris XI University, Orsay, FRANCE, in 1992  and the Ph.D degree from the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications (ENST), Paris, FRANCE, in 1995..

From 1995 to 1998, He was with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Melbourne University, Melbourne, AUSTRALIA, as research fellow.

Since 1998, He is with  the Signal and Image Department of the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications (ENST), Paris, FRANCE, as Associate Professor.

His research interests are in Statistical Signal Processing, (Blind) Array Processing, and Performance Analysis, and Statistical Signal Processing for Communications.
